NDT Non-destructive testing (NDT) methods are non-destructive testing methods performed by expert personnel without damaging the material to be tested. As can be understood from the NDT Nondestructive Inspection name, the test is carried out without damage to the material being tested. For this reason, no deformation is observed on the material surface after the material test is completed. One of the biggest reasons for choosing non-destructive testing methods is that the tested product is not damaged and the tests are cheaper than other destructive methods. Discontinuities, cellular spaces and defects on the material surface or under the surface of the material tested by the non-destructive inspection method can be easily detected. NDT Non-Destructive Testing methods allow for the inspection of a closed material that is not accessible from the outside, besides defect and defect detection.
