Factory Manufacturing and Quality Control Inspection (Vendor Inspection)
Independent oversight of all manufacturing stages—from material procurement to packaging—at supplier and manufacturer facilities (including hold points, witness points, and document reviews). On-Site Assembly and Project Process Inspections

1. What is Third-Party Inspection (TPI)?
Third-Party Inspection (TPI) is an engineering and quality audit conducted by an independent, impartial "Type A" inspection body—separate from the manufacturer (the first party) and the buyer/client (the second party). Its purpose is to verify, from an objective perspective, that manufacturing or assembly processes comply with the specified requirements.
2. What do "Hold" and "Witness" points mean in an ITP (Inspection and Test Plan)?
"Witness" refers to an inspection step that the TPI inspector is notified of and attends; however, the manufacturing process does not stop if the inspector is not present. A "Hold" point is a critical inspection stage where the TPI inspector must be present on-site to provide approval before the process can proceed to the next manufacturing phase.
3. Are TPI reports from CTI Inspection valid for international projects?
