Non-destructive testing (NDT) methods are non-destructive testing methods performed by expert personnel without damaging the material to be tested. As can be understood from the name of the non-destructive inspection, the test is carried out without damage to the material being tested. For this reason, no deformation is observed on the material surface after the material test is completed. One of the biggest reasons for choosing non-destructive testing methods is that the tested product is not damaged and tests are cheaper than other destructive methods.

Discontinuities, cellular spaces and defects on the surface of the material or under the surface of the material tested with the non-destructive testing method can be easily detected. Non-destructive testing methods allow for the inspection of a closed material, which is not accessible from the outside, as well as detection of errors and defects.
